No one like disease probably disease makes a person physically week, mentally unstable and some of the disease like cancer,brain tumor etc. takes life every year but what will your reaction if I tell you that their are some disease that can make you different from any normal person or it can give some superpower.
Hyperthymesia (super memory):
- The person who is suffering from this disease could memorize every single moment of his life. Even if the person reads a book he /she could remember every single line of that book, even after many years.
- NEGATIVE SIDE- the person who is having this power, always suffers from headache.
analgesia(no pain):
- An analgesic or painkiller is any member of the group of drugs used to achieve analgesia, relief from Pain i.e. the person is having analgesic can’t fell any pain, neither external nor internal.
- NEGATIVE SIDE: internal pain is the indication that the person is suffering from a problem but the person having this disease won’t be able to know their internal problem as he/ she can’t even feel that pain.
Savant Syndrome(EXTRAORDINARY talent):
- Savant syndrome is a condition in which someone with significant mental disabilities demonstrates certain abilities far in excess of average. The skills at which savants excel are generally related to memory This may include rapid calculation, artistic ability, map making, or musical ability
- The condition is rare. One estimate is that it affects about one in a million people. Cases of female savants are even less common than those of males. The first medical account of the condition was in 1783.
Urbach-Wiethe(no fear)
- A U.S. woman only known as S.M. has a rare genetic condition that keeps her absent of fear, even in life’s most terrifying situations.
- Indeed, she’s been held at gunpoint and knife point, beaten by her husband, and inches away from a poisonous snake, but nothing seems to faze the Iowa woman.
- “You know, joy, sadness, anger — she was perfectly normal with those. Fear was really an isolated defect.
- Only 400 people around the world are estimated to have Urbach-Wiethe disease.
Muscle hypertrophy(super strong):
- A range of stimuli can increase the volume of muscle cells. These changes occur as an adaptive response that serves to increase the ability to generate force or resist fatigue in anaerobic conditions.
- Muscle hypertrophy involves an increase in size of skeletal muscle through a growth in size of its component cells.
